I am so bad at this!!

I really should not blog anymore :( i am just really bad at keeping up with our lives on here. I wish i was a really good writer and could do this like everyday but lets be honest....i'm not. Well all i can do is post pictures and try to tell you what has been going on.
Emerie is now walking and running...and getting into everything! I absolutely love her right now (i always love her) she is so much fun. I really do wish that i could just freeze time and she could stay just like she is right now. She is so much fun. She is learning words. She for sure knows what "No" means but thinks its really funny to have mommy and daddy tell her "No" over and over. She will laugh and laugh, and then keep trying to put things in her mouth when she knows we said no. Its cute right now but Mark thinks that she is eventually going to have to learn that no means no. its just so funny.
Emerie is the light of our world right now. I go to bed every night and although i am happy to have some time just Mark and i, i miss her when she is asleep! Mark and i will just talk about how much our lives have changed and how crazy in love we are with our little Emerie. It make me cry just talking about her lol!! I am so lucky to be her mom and so incredibly lucky that i get to stay home with her everyday! Mark is such a good dad and husband, he works so hard so that we can have the things that we need and the things that we want. How did i get so lucky?!! Here are some pics...

OOPS!!!

Oh my!!! It has been so long since I last "Blogged"! My sincere apologies for those who read this!! So much has gone on since Marks Birthday. Lets see..... I turned 30 in September! I had a great birthday although i was really sad to turn 30. I think that my 30's are going to be awesome now that I think about it. I mean Emerie is going to grow so much, she will have brothers and sisters (hopefully), she will be helping out so much more, it will just be awesome.

So other then my birthday we went camping with Marks family over Labor Day weekend up to the Unitas. It was so much fun, we went to the same place last year and it was cool to remember how last year at this time I was pregnant with Emerie and just starting to feel better. This year we had Emerie and she loved camping, just not sleeping...... it was a little rough at night time to say the least. After drugging her she finally got some much needed sleep, as did Mark and I.

Last week Emerie, my brother Kerr and I flew to Maine to visit my family. Flying with Emerie was probably the HARDEST thing I have done in my life up to this point! I thought it would be fine, I thought that if we left on the red eye that she would sleep on the plane and when she woke up we would be there..right? Wrong!! She didnt sleep except for the first hour of the flight and then she was up and crying the whole time... I felt so bad :( I tried everything even nursing her in public which I REALLY dont like to do. Nothing helped. We got to NY about 6 in the AM and had to get a taxi over to a different airport, had to go through security (which she did sleep through) and then onto another flight into Portland ME. The entire flight to Portland she cried, not just crying but screaming. When we got off the plane I though people were going to kill us. Most of them were really sympathetic and told me that they had been praying for us the whole flight, hoping that no one would yell at me. Oh well, what can you do. The time in ME was great! we got to visit my grandparents and see all my family that lives out there. So much fun, and it was so nice to get to show off how cute my little Em's is! I just cant say it enough I LOVE THAT GIRL!!

Emerie is now crawling and getting into anything she can reach. She loves to put anything and everything into her mouth so I have to constantly be watching her, making sure she is not eating the dog food or the cat food. She really is just such a joy to have and her daddy and mommy sure do love her :) well here are some pics of the last few months. Obviously we mostly talk pics of her cuz really, who wants to see Mark and I:)

27 On The 27th!!

Yesterday was Marks 27th Birthday. I wanted to take some time to write a few things down for him.......

27 Reasons why I love you!!

1. You have the best dimples! I have always loved your dimples (and you passed them onto Emerie!)
2. I love how when we are just sitting somewhere you will say "Scratch" or "are there ants on my back?"
3. You are ALWAYS helping someone! You love to do service for others.
4. Emerie Loves you so much. If you are in the room then she has to be watching you or in your arms.
5. Probably one of the HARDEST workers I know. You work so hard for our family. We have everything we need because you work so hard.
6. I love your "finger toes". (long skinny toes)
7. I love the "Buck tooth Rabbit". You do this thing when your thinking hard or doing something strenuous with your mouth, its so hot :)
8. I love that you love animals. We have two dogs but if anyone were to ask you, you would say you have two sons Mr. Bojangles, and Bear Cub.
9. Always on time for church. We have to be out of the door early or I am in trouble. You have to be on time for church, which i love.
10. You are so good looking
11. It doesn't matter that i spend all day with Emerie, when your here she would rather be with her daddy.
12. LOVE to work in the yard. We have such a nice yard and its all because you work so hard on it and you love it!
13. You are sooo funny! You have been making me laugh since the day i met you. You just get funnier and funnier as time goes on.
14. Family is the most important thing to you and you love yours.
15. Love any and ALL movies about war!
16. Every once in a while you will surprise me with girly movies, and i love that!
17. You always answer your phone when i call. You could be in the middle of a meeting but you will answer if i am calling.

19. So protective of your sister. If i had an older brother i would want him to be like you.
20. You LOVE Atlanta Sports teams. You once told me how you wanted to cry because of how much you loved the Braves and the Falcons. haha

Happy Birthday (yesterday) my love!!

Recently Emerie has been making the funniest faces! She will scrunch up her nose and breathe really fast in and out. It's just so cute that i have to post videos so you can see it for yourself!! She will normally do this for a while but i think she is a little camera shy :). I cant believe that she is just about 6 months old!! It makes me so excited to watch her grow but also so sad that she is growing so fast. I guess I just need to have more babies, especially if they are all going to be as fun as Em is!

Catch Up

Ok so this is just going to be a bunch of pictures!! Here we go...( in no particular order)



This one was so funny! Mark got down on the floor to play with Emerie and Bojangles thought he was playing too so he laid right next to Emerie. Emerie just love Boj and always wants to pet and poke him!


We went to California to go to Disney and we also got to catch a Braves vs Dodgers game. Emerie is a sleep in the stroller (FINALLY) :)

Emerie really loves her Daddy. It doesnt matter how much time she spends with me during the day or week, when Daddy is home she cant stop looking for him. She just loves being with him. So cute!

Started eating (if that is what you want to call it) rice cereal.
